Hotel Borgarnes

Really enjoyed the spacious room with a harbor view and the generous breakfast buffet! Just be prepared for the sulfur smell in the bathroom. Would stay again!

We ate at a very nice restaurant for dinner.

Came here for 1 night with my family members, everything was perfect. The absolutely friendly staff provided all the necessary info. The restaurant was BIG for dinner, I ordered amazing dishes. Very comfy beds, multi-channel TV, a study table, and a radio were a nice touch.

Quiet Comfort and Convenient Dining

After a day of exploring, we enjoyed a cozy dinner at Landnamssetur Islands Restaurant, just a short walk away. The spacious breakfast area served a good variety each morning. A little facelift for the decor would elevate the ambiance further. Remember to explore the nearby Settlement Centre for a cool history fix!

Breakfast with many different local foods. Magnificent location helpful in telling us about things to see in the area, in the lovely area.

The spacious apartment was really good, perfect for a couple's getaway. The breakfast selection was excellent, fueling our adventures. The sulfur smell from the water took some getting used to. A charming experience in a lovely town.

The staff was exceptionally kind to three greasy, squinting dudes who hadn't slept well in three days. Our room was clean and was a tremendous deal (like 120 bucks for one night). In the morning the owner actually realized that we overslept and came to our room to wake us and then kept breakfast on for us. The best place we stayed, easily, in our six nights in Iceland.

Free wifi available in reception area was fast and stable, but the signal didn't carry that great to our room. Room and washroom facilities were rather old, but serviceable considering it was a hostel.

The spacious two-bedroom apartment was perfect for our group, felt cozy and had a mountain view. Totally was awesome!

I'm very pleased with the manager's attentiveness. Can see he has put in a lot of effort to maintain and improve the upkeep of the hotel. During my stay there weren't many guests, he specifically asked me what's my preference for the buffet breakfast. Very friendly and helpful.

Surprised by the amazing spaciousness of the two-bedroom apartment we got, seemed like royalty in there! Plus, the free breakfast was not just a slice of bread-it was a buffet, and we actually enjoyed it every morning.

It wasn't exactly pocket change, but for what we got, I can't complain.

Our spacious apartment had beautiful mountain views. The breakfast buffet featured a variety of options to start each day. Quick access to local attractions made exploring easy. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Free parking was a great added convenience 🌄
